My Photography and Videography
Photography Journaling
Since 2020 I have been making an effort to take pictures as much as I can in my daily life. I have mainly been doing this to keep a visual journal for myself in the form of digital photography. I started by using my mom’s old digital camera from the mid 2000s that I found in our junk drawer. A little while later, I invested in a slightly newer point and shoot camera from a hock shop in Sudbury, ON. By shooting in a lower quality format and with the limitations of point-and-shoot tech, I feel as though I have removed the pressure of taking only “good pictures” from myself and my work. I have loved photography for years, and this is a technique of play and leisure that I think 1) helps me develop my photography skills and 2) is lightweight, portable and unintrusive. Below is a collection of images I have taken over the years on these digital cameras that you can look through.
